I found this book at Chapters in the Local Author section. The cover caught my eye instantly and after finding out the story takes place in my home town I had to buy it! I didn't think anybody in my area believed in fairies or even better wrote books about them! I have started reading it and I must say it's hard to put down.

I really like the second paragraph on the first page. It gives a great summary of what you're in for.

"Yes, this is a fairy story, but it's for adults, not children. It begins gently enough but don't be misled. It is a patchwork quilt of dark deeds and shining bravery, the power of hate and the strength of love."
